Hello all,

Here is my 1981 Volvo 244 GL which has just been restored.

It is Australian assembled (In Melbourne), colour is Sun Yellow which is actually a Datsun colour (was assembled in a Datsun plant!)

It is a 2.3L model, with 4spd manual with optional overdrive. It is also optioned with optional power steering and air-con.

Wow, that is one BRIGHT Volvo!

That's really rather cool. It may lack the big bumpers that these had up to the year before, but I'd forgive it that for its yellowness. That, and the fact that Datsun built it, which is one in the eye for the brand snobs.
