Tracking device

I've read with interest the article in this months mag for the home fitment of a basic tracking device.

I have a couple of classics that are stored in lockups near home which is good to keep them out of the elements but bad as you can't watch them all the time. I sometimes don't get back to a lockup for as long as a month but I have wired in solar battery chargers for while they're parked. I was hoping someone from the magazine might offer some extra input on:

* which package they used
* they're thoughts over a longer time period
* the drain on the motor battery if wired in with the charger

Thanks in advance.

I have skytag fitted. I won't post details of how to do it but it's not difficult, hide it well and if you want you can turn on livetrack so if you loan your car to a friend you can watch where they are going on a map.
If some thieving scum wants to take your car, you can't stop them but a tracker is the best way to ensure it is returned.

If you send a PM to admin, that is Neil at the mag you should get a response. I read Land Rover Owner International as well as PC (same publisher), they recommend skytag and frequently have discount codes printed to reduce the purchase cost by 50%,

Thanks TerryG. I looked up the Skytag kit when you posted, but I'm keen on finding more about the kit PC fitted as it looked to do almost as much but for a very good price. I can't make out anywhere in the article the kit they used though.
