Pictures shamelessly stolen from Edd China's website but I got this mug:
and a tool chest from Halfords (I have already broken it by sitting on top. If anybody gets the red tool chests with drawers in from Halfords, don't put any weight on it!)
What goodies did everyone else get?

Yes, I too received a Christmas present. I've now drunk half of it and plan to enjoy the remainder tomorrow night. The first year in ages that I actually needed socks and did anyone think on and buy me some? Pah! Not bloody likely.

A Morris six, an A40 Devon, a Morris van and "hound trailer". Unfortunately, they are all 1/72 scale - for the model railway!
Oh, a box of praline chocolates (I can't cope with nuts) and a box of Fox's biscuits (I hate coconut and Fox's tend to use that in their biscuits!).
OTOH, the dog got a selection box of treats - but wouldn't eat the first offering (an imitation Bonio) as I had a chocolate digestive in my other hand! I wouldn't mind, but when I went to get the last one off the table, the outside of the chocolate was shiny and wet and the dog was standing staring at it. The biscuit wasn't wet when I put it down - nor was there a dog standing by the table!
I'm glad it's all over - hopefully the TV programmes will improve now! I just wish Jesus had been born in summer - at least I could have done something outside!

Depending what you believe, assuming he existed he was born on June 17th. Christmas is conveniently placed to provide a winter festival that coincides with other religions so people didn't feel they are missing out when converting.
Anyway, back to presents. I spent 40 minutes bending mine back to close to the correct shape so I can open all the drawers.

If you are from the southern hemisphere, he was. The only thing is, what would there be to look forward to in Winter (Not that you can always tell.....oh yes....the nights are longer in Winter)
Amongst my goodies, was a DVD of the 1987 Silverstone 1000ks (I was there) and a video of the life of Raymond Mays. There were books and CDs, a set of Only Fools and Horses DVDs

, things to eat (Should last me a while). The best thing however, was a week before Christmas, my mother had to see a dermatologist, about a lesion, that the GP said
could have been malignant. The dermatologist did a biopsy but said he didn’t think it was anything too serious. Believe me, news like that is better than anything wrapped in paper.

I'm sure Jesus existed - I'm not so sure he was actually "King of the Jews" or whatever as there are other non-christian religions that have much the same stories of a Messiah. My late father could have given chapter and verse, proof of his existence and proof that he didn't exist - but that's an honest clergyman for you!
I made my own tool trolley some years ago after seeing various makes that were not what I wanted. It fits under the bench (just) and has six (?) drawers which have "combs" to keep the spanners in place. The snag with mine is that I can't get it in the car, so I chuck a pile of tools in a plastic storage box if I have to go to someone else's machine. The up side is that I can push the trolley to the middle of the garage and there's a bit of old worktop on it that I can use for quite heavy stuff.
There is a snag though - when I get the shed finished, the little tractor will go in there and the Landy into the garage (so I can weld the shock absorber mount and various other things that need welding). I have a nice "new" pillar drill in front of the tractor and the Landy won't fit in the space. So the drill will have to move nearer to the main bench and the side bench, under which is the tool trolley, will have to go. I don't know where it will go - the rest of the "free space" is full of things like compressor, MIG, woodwork tools etc!!

it requires a a bit of restoration but will be perfect for the front of the garage

we live down a private lane so I had plans to to obtain some period lamps & signs for the front of the garage - maybe a old petrol pump at some stage ?

I had 2 bottles of Jim Beam a couple of wooly pullies, handkerchiefs, slippers, socks, etc. My daughter had an Audi A5 TDi! NOT off me I might add. I had nothing car or automotive related.
I took a wrong turning in the middle of Wolverhampton on Christmas Eve and ended up driving down the bus lane! I hate Wolverhampton at the best of times but when the there were 3 police officers standing on the central reservation of the bus lane as I drove into it.............. !!! I bet they were arguing among themselves who was going to put my reg in their book. That ain't going to be cheap. I only ended up in it because I was trying to avoid being side swiped by some moron in a Range Rover with blacked out windows muscling his way through the traffic. Every time I go into the ******* place they have altered the road layout. Mind you I try not to go there unless I am absolutely desperate.
I am going to start a campaign to have Range Rovers banned or the road tax raised to £10,000-00/year on them and any driving offence however minor should carry a 5 year ban! They are a menace. Last night I was driving down the A38. Traffic was slowing down as one lane was closed. I put my hazard flashers on as did others. Suddenly this twat in a Range Rover came hurtling down the road behind me flashing his lights for me to move out of the way. There was only one lane open. He then proceeded to drive about 2 feet off the back of me. When it went back to two lanes this knob 'ed roared past as close as he could get nearly taking my front wing off puling in front and slowing down and braking and pulling away and doing it again before hurtling off. Absolute tosser!
Merry Christmas.

Much as I say it is bad to stereotype, I think there are certain types of vehicles, that attract arrogant brats and the one you describe is one of them (Hopefully someone will punch the ass in the mouth one day and beat some manners into them). Perhaps it might be as well to see if the Wolverhampton incident is on CCTV, rather than just accept blame, for something you were forced to do.
