This is the reply, I got not impressed in that case why offer a children ticket in the first place then?
I would think that many people, would bring their kids along as we do a family day out?
Its not about volume, its about people with kids coming to the show with their parents.
I have never heard any car show being called a far less family show? A car show is about cars is it not?
Most events have family offers on tickets etc?
I think we will pass on this show, also cancel our hotel as well now.

Copy below which I got today.

Thank you for your interest in the new show. I have been passed your email by Danny Hopkins and I am the marketing manager for the show.

We didn’t see the need for a family ticket as it will be far less of a family show than Classic Motor Show. We don’t believe we will sell any volume so we decided to keep the pricing simple as possible.

Best regards

Fiona

Well seeing as somebody obviously reads this ;)

You shared my Dolomite pic on the Facebook group, and I had a comment posted thus
Practical Classics Restoration Show Rob Copson fancy putting the car on display at the new Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC in April? Have you got plenty of before, during and after pics? Get in touch please, either on here or email andrea@poppyseedmedia.co.uk
emailed and commented, and no reply, I know it's a while off, but it's also the same weekend as Pride of Longbridge, so...

£31 advance and £38 at the venue doesn't seem too steep for family tickets, plus that covers up to three children. It certainly looks to me like an offer.

:? Seeticket were doing a family package at that price, is it not more likely that this is how Bauer suddenly had a change of mind?
