One for Ross Alkureishi if he is around or anyone else with the knowledge.
I've got a genuine Pinninfarina hard top for my 124 spider but no fittings.
Can you enlighten as to how it's secured please?
Thanks

The member joined, posted twice and hasn't been back, that was all in one day two and a half years back, his profile is
here.
I
would suggest that you PM him but possibly (check the instructions, I'm not certain what the threshold is) there aren't enough posts yet so maybe clicking his email link would be your best way? Or ask the question
here, they have >143,000 members, all of them Fiat enthusiasts.

That's a nuisance! OK, how about you post photos showing the areas around the rear deck, the windscreen frame and the header rail where the roof attaches, both on the car and on the roof? That may jog somebody's memory.
There's a thriving Dutch 124 Spider site
here which has to be worth checking out. It's possibly encouraging that the Dutch site has a section called "It's raining!" Then one of the world's strongest markets for the cars when they were current has to be California, a big place where surely at least
someone who knows this stuff must be available on the web?
