A bit of spit and polish on an old Ferrari :)

Had to remove the front spoiler, since 1987 it had suffered it's fair share of scuffs and dings so it was repaired, and re-textured prior to refitting

Image

The under-arches were thoroughly steam cleaned, re-sealed and stone chipped in a tough black finish, looks pretty clean underneath now

Image

While under the nearside rear arch, I removed all the sheilds to replace all the engine belts, it's a low miler with just 33,000 on the clock but prevention is better than cure as they say

Image

Trial fitting the new wheels and tyres. I prefer them to the original five spokes but they may not be to all tastes

Image

Looking a bit grubby so, a thorough wash, degrease, clay bar, rotary and DA machine polish finished by a hand polish and seal see the car looking great once again

It's not that old (I really should update the posters on my garage wall)
One of the very few Ferraris I would like to own, definitely better with the original wheels though ;)

Must admit the new rims do look a bit too modern for the retro shape of the car

Was anyone else expecting a Fiesta and got a bit of a surprise on opening the thread?

Edit: guess not, see above XD
