It will be on NatGeo. Series 2 being filmed now. 3 cars returned to owners. No more imformation can be revealed until filming finishes and programme aired. It will be as good as series 1.

Car SOS is the number one Nat Geo programme in Japan! It's also the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th most watched with the repeats. That's official from NatGeo. Series 2 is better than series 1. It's hard to believe I know but it is. 3 weeks per car is what it takes. 2 being done at a time with them over lapping. One series takes 22 weeks to produce.

I don't think I have revealed too much imformation? :)

Could you reveal when Nat Geo are thinking about airing series 2?

Sorry Terry that I do not know. NatGeo keep that a secret so they can steal a march on the other channels!

Spoil sport. I have noticed a trend that all channels say "coming soon" until a week before a new program starts so people can program their Sky+ / Tivo.

I have been told that Series 2 is being advertised but I haven't seen it. I got recognised in France last week or should I say my jeep did.

I enjoyed the first series. What better host other than the magazine's very own Fuzz Townshend? There was no covering up unlike that other show that features Bernie Fineman (he of Chop Shop fame). I was surprised at Tim Shaw being the co-host but he did a great job. I've come across him before when he was on Absolute Radio and until recently Viking FM (I picked up his show during my recent trips to Beverley and Withernsea).

Bring on the next series.
