They clearly want nothing to do with their kids so why did they have them in the first place? Jeez, some folk shouldn't be allowed to breed and yes, that works out at well under the minimum wage.

Assuming an 8 hour working day 5 days a week that is roughly half minimum wage. Sounds great, have you applied?

8-8 Monday through Friday is a 60 hour week, so the job was only £2 per hour! Anyway, someone must have asked Gumtree to remove the ad as it's gone now.

To be fair on the hopeful employer though, I suspect living expenses in that part of London are pretty steep. The £2.00 per hour is spending money (possibly not even taxable if they keep quiet about the "live in" aspect!). OK, it's still not a dream job or wage, but I suspect that there are people who'd do it just to be able to say they live in St John's Wood.

One thing's for sure - it wouldn't be me: I can't stand kids under about ten and feel they should all be sent to a "weaning home" until they leave school. Unfortunately, there are at least fourteen under tens among my close neighbours. As there's a fairly even mix of sexes, it will be "fun" for another ten or fifteen years!
