Looks very much like it. But then if it had been stashed for goodness knows how many years, it could have picked up some paint damage or it may have been despatched in primer as many of them were and only given a top coat for the first time recently. Either way, apart from the over zealous use of plasticisers on the door cards it looks stunning, it'll be good to see it once the conversion has been completed and it has some furniture, correct period seats, etc.

Pretty sure that the pedal rods up to the foot pads / rubbers were never the same colour as the body either - I thought that these were black when new - I would put odds on that's its quite recently seen more than an litre of wet paint.

Could "unregistered" be translated as "off the road" since the v5 was introduced so it has been recently restored rather than sitting as "old stock" somewhere?

It has had a colour change this year which explains the overspray. Reason is the guy who owns it was going to hot rod it with a Ford V8 and a set of massive american style alloys (torque thrusts or centrelines) Thank God he didn't do that to it, it's way too good to chop it about. He painted in in the pale yellow to look like this apparently.....
