Making such machines is popular in the Scandinavian countries - there are often threads on the DBTC site asking about final drive gearing (and someone made new gears to make their machines much faster). The main worries I have with the one in the video is that there is no suspension (though the back tyres do that job) and no braking at the front (and the back brakes aren't designed for high speed operation). It was bad enough driving an old Fordson Major at speed on a road (we used to take the pre-cleaner off the air filter and the tractor could fairly fly for a 50's machine) - bump steer is a major problem with faster unsprung machines.
