If you read read the July issue, you'll see that the vote was two to one against and he's selling it. Personally I think that it's not a classic yet, but will be one day and a few need to be preserved in good condition.

Talbot Tagora gets my vote.

Go on Danny, you know it would make sense. Sort of. Possibly.

Mine too, 2.7 litre V6 of course, but given that there are only about four on the road in the UK, finding a right-hand drive one could prove tricky.

Hmm, has anyone ever converted a LHD Tagora to RHD? Practical could be the first. There must be hundreds of the things sitting in French breakers' yards, unrusted and crying out for some TLC. V6? Yeah, very nice but how about the 2.3 Diesel version?

Phwoooaaarrrgggghhh! (sp?)
That 26000km brown or dark red one at €1000 has to be the bargain of the century, even though it's a petrol version and is described in French on a night when I can't be arsed translating the description.
But maybe the Diesel with half a million KM on it at the same price would be suitable as a magazine editor about town's personal transport?
If the man in question would buy a Tagora and bring it in from France, this would be brilliant for the many readers who've been thinking about doing the same thing. Yep, we'd both love to read that.
After all, the hairy man has gone all coffee table and bought an MGB - albeit a Triumph IL6 engined one - so surely this means that the editor owes it to his readership to buy something slightly eccentric in the interests of balance?
