Various proprietary plastic cleaners, like "Back to Black" and so on will do a good job, but try Peanut Butter - honestly! Smooth variety is best, you'd be amazed at how it will bring it back, it's the peanut oil in it that does the trick.

Careful use of a heat gun can also do a pretty good job, but over-do it and there's no turning back, so only for the careful/skillful I'd say....

I've tried lots of things, from boot polish, Simoniz wax, Sun of a Gun was one of the more outlandish names and there was also Back to Black, which I remember compared well with http://shop.autoglym.com/rubber-plastic ... black.html. http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-pr ... p?v06VQ=EM is also good, though I have only used the previous incarnation called Bumper Care. I think the best policy with this stuff is to use it often, as none of it seems to last as well as polish on the paintwork. Each time I clean the car, I do the bumpers.

The bumpers on my car are original and don't look too bad, though I remember David Franklin's V8 bumpers were the best I had ever seen.
