I have always loved the Scirocco and this one looks to be in awesome shape. How are the stripes on the lights done? It's the only thing I'd change. Apart from that it's gorgeous! Even the headlights look wonderfully clear.
Enjoy it!!

Cheers Jim
The stripes appear to be painted directly onto the plastic. I assume they were done by the manufacturer at origin

V underated cars.
I've had 3 in the past.same as yours, white colour coded Scala with the 1.8 carb, light blue GTX and a Storm 16V
Sadly all sold for peanuts about 10 years ago, when you couldn't give them away
Same as the Golf, unless the filler neck has been swapped out for a stainless one, rust can get into the engine and cause havoc with the FI.
And yes,the cool stripes on the rear lights are factory!

Very nice!
May I ask where those pictures were taken? They very much look like they were taken at Thetfrod Tescos, if so I believe I have seen the car around a couple of times.

Always loved the Scirocco. They used to remind me of the Delorean from Back to the future. I had a Corrado until some git 'serviced' it and did the cambelt, for some reason he took the injection system apart and ruined it and messed up the cambelt which totalled the engine.
Nice car and rare to see one so tidy
