This is how she looked two and a half years ago when I bought her for £350


since then shees gone through a few changes, first some different wheels and a rear spoiler

And a bit more power, courtesy of a splash of nitrous

This is how she stayed for the next year, but in january this year it was time to go a bit more radical, so:
I put this here

to cool the charge into this

Then this intercooler at the front

Then some plumbing

Then a hole in the bonnet

this was the first attempt at a bonnet scoop

and this was attempt number two

and that's about it, needless to say the brakes and suspension have been played with to help the car a little
So there you have it, the only compound charged Volvo 850 in the world (unless you know different)

It's REALLY not my thing, and when i saw that first bonnet scoop i laughed a lil bit but that second one with the wheels and everything looks really smooth and cool, It's great to be different aswell

I bloody love that! I actually prefer the slightly more awkward appearance of the earlier scoop 'cos it says "get the f*** out of the way, this car is mental and will eat your children if you let it get close enough." (But it'll eat them safely and in comfort while it tells them a story about a troll who lives under a bridge or something of that sort).

cheers, but as far as I was concerned, it's just a bonnet, which can be replaced if I come up with a better solution to the top mount.

Decided to take the duct that I had fiberglassed onto the scoop off, and instead mount one on the tmic itself, this should make it easyer for me to create a hot air extraction system to try and get rid of some of the heat build up in the engine bay when the car has just finished a quarter mile run.



I'll paint it black once I'v got it how I want it.
