Hi all
Got a damaged thread on a mk 2 1.3 escort sump and plug. Anybody know what thread it is so i can clean it out ?. It appears to be 12mm x 1.25 pitch -any thoughts?

Just to follow up:
escort mk 2 sump plug is m12 x 1.25 pitch- my problem was the thread in the sump was badly stripped.
its possible to drill the hole larger and retap the hole to m14,but most m14 sump plugs seem to be m14 x1.50 pitch and taps are not that common at that pitch,easier to get an m14 x2.0 pitch tap which is a bit coarse and you then need to buy an m14 x2.0 set screw,which are common enough.......seems to be working so far!-
