How did it go?

I've never been, I'm a little worried about what the hell I would bring back with me.

Rules for jumbles such as Beaulieu.

Make an exact list of what you "need" not "what you want/would like".

Work out as best as you can how much you will need for the parts you require + 10% no more.
Take only what cash you need to buy the parts required.

It is so easy to pay over the odds at jumbles for used parts rather than buying new/repro from specialist's so ensure you have written down what you should expect to pay.

Take packed lunch's for all day jumbles (on site caterers tend to be expensive)

If you have a choice, only take a vehicle capable of carrying the parts you need, or double up with friends so that excess space is taken up.

Ensure your vehicle already has fuel etc before leaving, hence no need to carry extra cash.
Leave credit cards and cheque books at home.

Or do what most of us do ...................

Ignore the above, fill wallet over the week prior to the jumble, go in biggest car possible on your own, and take all credit cards and check books "Just in case" LOLOLOL

Ensure car tank full etc , so more money available for those "just in case theres one of them" moments!

There were some real bargains though. Example: N/O/S steel front wings for Dolomite, Toledo or 1500, £135 each. Last time one of those came up on eBay it was bought at £370 and the buyer was very happy at that, I sold my remaining n/o/s wings for £1100 the lot back in July, £135 is more like the sort of figure realised by used wings at other venues. Bargain! :D
