I've just noticed this forum cuts bits off the pics. I should have resized them, but nevermind, they give an idea.

You're using the wrong theme.
Change it to "subsilver2" in your user settings and you'll not only be able to see the whole images, avatars will then appear in the right place, at the left:
There, that's more like the job!
Fantastic pictures, especially when you can see them in all their glory. Very atmospheric they are too.

Is that what used to be called the Monte Carlo Challenge

I have some VHS of the event in 1991, 92 & 93 (They are still available at
http://www.dukevideo.com/Cars/VHS/Rally ... story.aspx). I never tire of them and I'd have liked to have been there to see off the cars. That said, I'd have been wanting to take part. I reckon my choice of car would be an Mini Cooper S, an MGB or a 2 door Morris Minor (With a limited slip diff

). All are essentially good handling cars, not overly complex and easy to get parts for, should the worst happen
