I wonder why it has earlier bumpers; possibly the earlier steel ones are easier (Possible even

) to repair and you can't get replacement plastic moulded ones, of the type used on later (Roughly late 78 on, if my memory serves me right) Mk 1 Golfs

Well observed - I missed that.
I guess it's to make it a little more "retro" looking. Nice car though, not over done like a lot of other Golfs of the same(ish) age.

I saw a nice blue thing outside woolies trimmers today......no idea what it was.
I think it was one of these.

seen this yesturday..actually it was in my garage after i had dragged it out of my dads garage. first time its been out since 1997.
still in decent condition but in the way so it must go
