I haven't mate, but I'll have a look in the village phone box tomorrow and see if she's left her usual pile of calling cards in there.

A wooly pig!! - or are the local pigs like certain folk from a mountainous country to the south west of you?

I was thinking more of a not remotely mountainous and often foggy county to the south east of here. I wouldn't dare risk offending the folk from west of Offa's dyke who post on the forum as they'd probably tar and feather me before sacrificing me on a bed of locally grown slate during one of their Satanic rituals. I should get away with that minor act of xenophobia because Martin's on his trip away just now.. ;)

ARU, to get back to eccentric car sales listings from France: Rich, I found you the perfect people carrier. Arguably the original and best! A car that usually rots away to dust in its native UK and costs a veritable fortune here if you can find a decent example. These things can be fitted out as campervans, they can be driven as daily cars, owners get away with driving them in bus lanes even though they weigh (lots) more than 550Kg, they run fine on veggie and they have a lock almost as tight as that of a Reliant kitten:

 I've PM'd the R3W member whose GTC that is as I think he may be quite surprised to see it for sale on a French website! :?

It is in limp mode. it could be any number of sensors failing or a sensor working and reporting a genuine problem. an OBDII scan will reveal all.
Don't buy it like it is. if it needs a replacement engine it will cost 10x more than the car by the time you have paid labour to have it done. mind you, if it is something daft like the MAF sensor, you could be quids in for a £40 repair.
The seller will know it is forked or he would have had it fixed.

Buy Le CJ7, it looks fun!

The 2nd "van" in the Renault 4 advert would look good on my driveway. Another thing I haven't seen before.

 Rich! Terry hasn't been opening all of your links, he didn't recognise the Estafette or whatever they call the things.

Terry, he's posted many thousands (rough guess, might be more, might be fewer) of these cute old vans since the thread was born. Miss a link in this thread and you throw away a chance to learn about some random piece of French chod that nobody else cares about.. ;)
