It's a Mehari. Celebrated their 45 birthday recently. This is one of them going round the track at the Montlhery-Linas Autodrome during the celebrations.

my daughter had her prom last night so once she was all sorted and waiting for my mate to pick her up in his merc, me and my son shot down to the venue early to wait for her to arrive (and to get to see all the nice motors arriving-even my missus thought some of them were tasty)
this roller was my fav and i couldnt resist parking next to it for a cheeky shot

there was a nice 1960s dennis fire engine, couldnt get a pic of it tho due to the amount of people around it.

Barn find(s). Genuinely found IN a barn. (how come there is not a thread for this?)

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
Spotted on way home from Machine Mart, a Thames 'stake bed' pickup.

Alan, your eyes most certainly do not deceive! Some of the cars in there are virtually neither more nor less than life-sized replicas of the originals that have been shaped from solid blocks of Cataloy.
Apart from the first ever Imp to have rolled out of the doors at Linwood, which is genuinely minty fresh apart from cracking window rubberage.

Thanks for the ID on the Citroen
Ah I see John...cars just like "they used to be" eh?
Out for a very windy walk this morning I saw this which to my utter embarrassment I (again) do not know what model or make :

The driver spotted me about to take the picture and the car said "ah-WOOGA!" to me. Everyone laughed
He and the passenger gave me a cheery thumbs up and off they went.

Coming back from leek I saw a VERY ratty blue and rust triumph herald parked up and a mini clubman with wide arches out and about.
