Cheers Alan. That Rebel saloon is even less common than most as it's a 600. The owner also has a van, both are restored to incorporate all sorts of invisible modifications such as decent brakes, stronger roll cages that are hidden neatly within the shell and lots of very tastefully restored interior trim. The guy's a brilliant engineer, steel fabricator, welder and GRP repairer. He's a Reliant World regular and if I were able to sign in there these days I'd copy and paste some of his pics subject to his permission.

But.... That Toledo; can you guess what I'm going to say about that? Clue: ;) :shock: ___ :shock: ;) /

Wow, feel like I am among old friends here...good here innit!?! :lol: ;)

Yes Rich you know me...always "poking" about mate. :)

Hi John. Yes I followed the resto of the Rebel on another forum, mightly impressed by the work that went into it, all the time I was reading and watching I didn't realise it was all taken place in less than a quarter mile away from where I was sitting - until the Rebel popped up on my radar so to speak.

Anyway more spots from the last few months, some were taken around Dorset and Devon and of course the IoW;

Been over at the west coast visiting old friends for the last few days, had a trip to the new venue for the Glasgow transport museum, WARNING: CONTAINS STEAM STUFF! (And a Raleigh Chopper or two).

Yes, and more than the same amount again but time wasn't on our side. However, like all local authority museums in the city, it's free so next time I visit I'll take more piccies.

Things we missed this visit included the three streets of classic buildings which have been constructed inside and feature old motors parked on their cobbles, many of the "Clockwork Orange" exhibits were ignored this time too. It's a big place, oh, and there's a tall ship moored behind the building which was accessible to 'chairs but that deserves a day to itself.

Wow that looks a great place to be. Is it a trick of the light or are the sills on both the Austin and Morris a little flaky?

Nice bit of pipe fondling going on there by the way mate :lol: .
