Spotted in Bury,Lancashire a pre-1970 2 door sports car that had a scoop on the bonnet, and a headlight in the grill. It was travelling the opposite direction as I,so I could only get a brief eyeful

Spotted this at Toddington Station (http://www.gwsr.com/).

Then, outside Cheltenham Racecourse (The one end of the line), I saw a very tidy looking cream/biege Hillman Super Minx drive past.

What a thoroughly pleasant day out :D :!: There are a couple of classic cars days at the GWR this year (16 June & 15 September); if I have time and it's not cr*pping down, I may go to the one in June.

Later that day.....

A white Lotus Elan S4 has just driven past the shop :D :!: What a masterpiece :!:

Today was a good day for classic spotting
Mk1 e-type rag top, Lancia Delta on a "g" plate, Austin Healey 3000, 2x Frogeye Sprites, more Morris Minors than I can remember including a blue traveller and a black rag top. Not classic but there were 2 Maserati's parked in Ashbourne.

Nothing on the road, during my Drive It Day run, though I spied a L reg VW Type 2 Camper parked up. Later I saw/heard a few old uns go past the shop. Specifically I saw an MGB and a 1980s Capri go by and a few hours later, they went past the other way. I'd have expected to see more but I think some may have been put off by the weather forecast......which was wrong......just goes to show what comes from listening to a bunch of liars :!:

I saw the same Austin Healey but that was it. It was pretty windy and not all that nice here though so people may have stayed at home.

A poor spotting day here as well yesterday, in spite of temperatures in the lower sixties and very little wind.
I only saw two old 'uns all day and one was my own. :x

A "Big" Healey went by about half and hour ago, just as I was giving our Internet parcels to the Interlink man. Although not in my top ten (But far from the bottom ten), it made a nice change from the regular mundane crap, that goes past :D . The sky is a funny blue colour today, which set it off rather well :!:
