It probably wasn't French wine. I can guarantee that a glass or three of the Gallic stuff, a hot bath and a leg over will produce far better effects than any sleeping draught.JPB wrote: Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:35 am [unkind French stereotyping]Maybe he's consumed lots of wine and fallen asleep?[/unkind French stereotyping]

Fridges perhaps? Maybe these massive "American style" ones?
Liking Protons, for heavens sake John, have you no standards? And I don't mean the four wheel variety, they are worse than Protons. Aren't protons those little oven baked lumps of bread that you drop into a bowl of soup? Or is that croutons? As for Tim, I'm so up my own arse, wossisface, he is out of the same school as that annoying wossisface on wheely wotsits.JPB wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 8:34 amI like the idea of a Proton, not least because Tim wossisface (he of Car SOS) owned one and ran it for a week instead of his BMW as a daily car. He grew rather fond of the thing.
Liking the Sherpa, not so often you see a straight looking one of these nowadays but seems it could be difficult to repatriate without a log book. The A60 looks a lot like one that was seen occasionally on the pages of the long forgotten site that catered for rides with a retro flavour. Can't remember what that place was called, but it doesn't matter as long as we still have this place and Autoshite.
you don't need to justify the purchase another car to me mate, just get your chequebook outJPB wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 8:34 am
Have I done enough to justify a purchase of yet another weird car that's not really essential?![]()
