Hello. I'm Ian, one time writer on Classic Car Weekly (where I had to put up with those strange folks on PC) and now a penniless freelancer. Despite my signature, I'm not a classic car trader - I just change cars a lot. Except for the 2CV. Which somehow gets a rare dose of loyalty.

Hi, another Chris here, down in Torquay UK. I've posted on the events thread so thought I really ought to introduce myself properly. I'm a Triumph fan and have owned both a 2.5PI and a 2000TC in the past. Currently do not own a true classic and certainly not a practical one, as it's a replica GT40 and it's only 3 years old. However it does get included in classic shows and draws a lot of attention. I also drive a Saab 93 convertible and a Merc S280 W140 model (currently up for sale) so have a car for all seasons. Love to see the real classics on here and maybe one day my garage will once again be filled with TRs, Stags and the like.

Another Alex here. I used to use the old forum in the good ole' days, but cheated on PC with a variety of other magazines over the last year or so before returning to PC as none of the others satisfied! So its time to return to the forum. Currently classic-less I drive a retro lookin Fiat 500, but love all things classic!

Currently running an 82 Volvo 340 GL as a man sporting a blonde moustache told me Nordic cars were cool.
(Men sporting Blonde moustaches will not lie)
With the origonal B14 1.4 engine as a man in a boiler suit and flat hat told me pushrod engines were for winners.
(Men in boiler suits and flat hats are ALWAYS to be trusted.)

Previous motoring highlights include: Morris Oxford (sold to an Austrian Ice Skating Champ who drove it home), Reliant Scimitar, Volvo 360 GLE (carb), Volvo 360 GLT (inj), Volvo 740, Mk2 Cavalier, Peugeot 205 Jnr/XS hybrid.
