from the caterers' fleet of a dozen similar, but at least the driver has a Dixie horn to announce the coming of lunch.
Must be a pre '73 bland Peugeot thing or that horn would be illegal

Only if she sounds it on the public highway, or so the driver reckons. Either way, she goes into the Police's divisional HQ on her rounds and apparently gets no similar objections from the hungry polises who get their bait from the van.

I noticed a 1971/72 Leyland tractor, in a farmyard, when I was only my way home. You don't see many of those these days or Ford ones for that matter. I don't know how they compared with the products of Fergusson, John Deere....or even Zetor (They used to be popular when Ladas and Cold War Skodas were popular)

Saw this Volvo Polar today:

These, I think were what Europe got when UK had Volvo Torslanda's in the last couple of years of the model.

Went to meet a client today on a third party site to advise on technical issues - with a view to tendering / undertaking some enviromental works on the site - I asked if there was anywhere suitable where we could place our temporary site welfare / office / materials / cars etc while the work was undertaken - just round the back of here I was told - walked round the corner and found this

A green Morris Minor 1000 just went by, playing the trombone as it slowed down.
It's just gone back the other way and gave a quick base C, on the trombone, as it changed gear.
