 @ the "Renault 12" which as many folk might already have noticed isn't really a R12 at all! The giveaway is the combination of that style of rear pillar with the much larger rear lamp clusters, a mixture of bits that make it either a pre-1974 R12 or, and given that it's described as a '76 this must be it, a Dacia Denem. Maybe this is the Dacia owners' club (my bad, given the number of members that should have read 'Dacia owner's club' ...) taking their revenge for my raiding a Denem for a sump shield, the dashboard, the highback front seats, the centre console, the round headlamps, the alloys and several other fancy things to make my (then only 5 years old) R12 Estate look less ugly, cos much as I love a 12 (who doesn't?), they've a hell of an arse on them, especially the saloons. Monster monster junk in the trunk.

Would I be seen in that? Too darned right I wad. Bring it on. (In the dark and with a rug over it please).

go and get the SD1 then. perfect for a family where the dad needs v8 power. The steering wheel is even on the wrong side so you can drive safely on the wrong side of the road.
