A small selection from the classic Prescott meeting yesterday (I really must dust off the old helmet and overalls). Some of the motion pictures are taken from a cavalcade but some are timed runs, including the red Stanley steam car, where the driver is wearing a modern helmet and overalls.

I always liked the F5000 stuff, like this McLaren Chevrolet. They were popular on the hills during the 1970s.

Not forgetting a car I would have liked to take home with me, an MG J2.

Whilst at my parent's home today, I greased the suspension of my mother's MGB GT and then washed it and did a bit of polishing. As I did so, a nice looking (I know they all look nice; I mean it looked in good order) E Type Jaguar drove by (It was a 6 not a V12) and some time later, a Lotus Elan (I think it was an S4) drove by. The Elan (Sprint) is a particular favourite of mine and would probably be No. 2 on my shopping list, if ever I buy a Lottery ticket, that isn't a duffer   :!:

Maybe his Shitezoo (sp?) puppy ate him? ;) Where are you, LOC?

Today I have seen a Vauxhall Wyvern of the type used as the late Geoffrey (Eddie Yeates) Hughes' taxi in Heartbeat, these must all have been black, I've only ever seen them in that colour. Where are all the orange Wyverns hiding?
