I didn't know there was one. Is it available on youtube or was it a low-rent, cinema-only effort?

A gaggle of pre war ( And perhaps some very early post war) Austins drove by earlier on and a Ferrari Daytona Spider stopped outside a few minutes ago and then drove off.

Ay up!

There I was, off to the local shops for one or two things, minding me own business when I saw a gorgeous Mk1 Escort, pale blue with darker blue RS stripes on it. The owner, who was in the queue for the Chinese Takeaway, came out for a natter. Turns out iit was a "cooking" Mk1 Escort, discovered rotting away in a field and extensively restored. The engine had been replaced with a 2 Litre Pinto, nicely lowered suspension and Revolution rims. And, as we found out as he left and gave it a bootful, a true big bore sports exhaust - not one of these farty things the kids like.

I drooled unashamadly. :D

I took my Vitesse down the road today for it's MOT today (pass :) ) and one of the mechanics down there had his Mk3 Crayford Cortina there, really nice, he's had it for years, squeezed in a Rover V8 with no structural alterations so it can be switched back to pinto if neccessary, mated to a Capri box.

It must be the weather- as summer seems to have started today and will probably end tomorrow people are bringing 'em out- I went down to the diy retail park today, in the car park was a nice matt black mk 2 Capri parked up, a really good big Healey with a mise
able non waving driver, and a rubber bumper Midget with a waving and cheerful driver.

Have seen, loads of Moggies, Riley RM, MGA, VW Beetle, Escorts MK 1 & 2, Volvo 245 on an old Y suffix and a Ferrari!
