The white Cortina 1600E was painted at Westgate Classics where Car SOS is done. The wheels took over a week to prep and paint. The jacking points are painted and polished on the inside!! The red and white 1937 Buick 2 door on Classic American's stand was painted at Westgate also. I rewired the 1933 black Chevrolet Master Eagle on the same stand. I tried to convince 'er indoors that I should buy the unmolested grey 1948 DeSoto on the same stand. She said "You can but I don't know if you'll find room in your coucil flat if you do!" She can be very hurtful at times. It would look stunning in US Navy Midnight Blue with 'US Naval Base Norfolk Virginia' on the front doors in white. Hmmm....

Some reasonably priced motors were sold but some prices from the dealers were just stupid money - £29k for a Jaguar XJC and it looked like a train had been down the lower offside of it !!

£165k Healey

- Lots of shopping for the Javelin that I am restoring - we managed to purchase a lot of the trim sundries / odds / small bits - did some great deals on the paint etc - this resulted in several return trips to my truck to off load the said purchases - we had a three and half page A4 list which was researched with online suppliers before we went to the show - just about all of it was found to be cheaper or better quality at the show - so the truck went home heavy and the wallet quite a bit slimer
