With sincere apologies to all for being a smug bas**d - but blame John for posting an image on my 'specialist knowledge vehicle manufacture' - it is a 1951 Jowett Jupiter chassis - fitted with a very, very rare 'Coachcraft' all alloy coupe body - registration number is PPF 746 - this actual car was raced & won at Goodwood in 1954 - the car survives today and up until last month was owned by the veteran F1 star 'John Surtees' - it was sold at auction and despite requiring a full restoration it made £38,525 - let me raid my image files in the morning and I will post something equally obscure

Ugly. I believe that is the correct answer..
BUT... These front wings have a familiar shape to them. Could it be that their origins also lie in the West Riding of the People's Republic of Yorkshire?

That badge on the grille looks a bit like a Chrysler.

That badge is wrong for chrysler, it would be a 5 pointed diamond on older vehicles.

Well they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder - and once the restoration is complete on the car in question it will certainly some head turner Does my rear look big in this ?
