Car SOS, Series 3. Is it going to happen?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Yep, it's repeated around lunchtime on Sundays (13:00 or so). That means it's at the start of my afternoon nap time!

Wasn't that Herald in a magazine several months ago? Does it really take them that long to get to air?

It was aired on National Geographic quite a while ago. Recently Channel 4 have started showing them which is good :)

Thanks Terry. That would explain it.

If anybody was at the NEC Classic Car Show today (Friday 14th November) you would have seen a Car SOS car being handed back to a delighted owner on the 'Teddy Bear' Ride Display. Very touching. I have to admit to welling up. Another stunning paint job by Nathan Barber and the Westgate Classics 'Bodyshop Magicians'. We did a fair bit of mechanical work as well!

If you are in Hall 20 come to the Miiltary Vehicle Trust stand 600 and say hello. We have got a 1916 Albion lorry, 1942 GMC CCKW 353 ' Duece and Half' truck, 1916 Rudge despatch motorcycle, 1943 James ML and a 1944 pedal cycle. We aren't far from the bar and restaurant. Now there's a surprise! Fuzz is on the Carole Nash stand in hall 9.

Is that an euphemism for "We are in tbe bar most of the time"?

I will, of course, be messing with my Land Rover (I hope to get some tips on Monday night!), but hope you have a good show (and don't get too drunk!)

I normally go for the last day but I have spent every spare hour (admittedly not many) for the last 3 months cutting and welding so I'm not sure I will get the chance but if I have my rear floors finished I may make it tomorrow :)

If I known you were there I would have come and said hello - as it is I was back home before viewing your post - we were there with the Jowett Car Club stand - I will post pics under a separate thread
