Rich are you sure on that one?
Some banks and building societies are still going under even now!
And in some cases the cost of running a bank account with the none
exsistant interest rates for savings you can get less out than you put
in!

Do remember that 85k of your deposits are government insured so banks are safe. Christmas clubs however are definitely not. If you have 85k to spend on Christmas then I don't think you are the type of person that would be in a Christmas club anyway.

Err no 85p is left after I blown all my savings paying the parent's car
insurance. And that money was to be spent on my neon

thats 85p more than i will have after the car is fixed & we get the bill from the vet for the cat, im going on a toast diet for the next 6 months if this carries on!!
