It just dawned on me that Terry was thinking about the Rover K series V6, which is known for being a sweet wee thing but also a sod to work on in its native application, across the nose of one of these:

It's the Rover KV6 that lives in the pro rallying Dolomite I referred to and a very good job it does too, being mounted north-south so easy to work on when it goes into meltdown.

Good choice that Mazda motor though, I've never heard of a broken one of those and man, does it look good in there! 8-)

"Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..

Practically everyone seems to claim that their engines were designed by Porsche, Lotus or Cosworth :)

Worst case scenario if you do make a mess you could always just cover it in black plastic like all the big manufacturers do ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Ahem, for a Viva, the truly authentic would use the same vinyl as is used on the roof!
Landrovers and Welding go together like Bread and Butter. And in the wet they are about as structurally sound

Biting. It's like kissing except there's a winner
