On the way to work in Derby this morning i saw an OLD Citroen 2cv van in that grey/blue colour still on French plates. On the way home crossing the A38 there was a Maroon 2 door Morris Minor.
Some warm weather and real cars are out and about again

Not
yet a FIVA defined "Historic" but I saw a V6 Sierra pass the shop yesterday. It was a black four door hatch but I don't know the model (It was a later example), other than to say that it I could hear is was a V6. In the fleeting glance I had, it looked very presentable. I don't know when I last saw one and one thing is for sure, there are more Sierra gearboxes, at classic car events, than there are Sierras (There is one in my Morris)
Today a nice almond green Morris Minor 1000 (1098) has been driving back and forth.

A nice dark blue Sunbeam Alpine coming in to Toddington from Tebworth top down today, A red MGB I gave a wave to yesterday in Harlington and a red Saab 900 Turbo in Toddington High St that I see fairly often along with a beautiful Black 900 turbo regularly seen in Toddington at the weekend. Quite a lot of modern Mustangs around this weekend in this area, I've seen four.

What a small world it is. The Deuche seen parked on Robertson Terrace in one photo appears to be that belonging to a cousin of mine who migrated down to Hastings back in the '90s.
Not sure whether she had it last time she was back home, but I'll have a look at my car-related photo storage drive and will possibly post a piccie to show that it gets around a bit.
If it's not hers, then there are two in the same livery and the same town.
Her example was named George, after the George Formby song about the owner of a famous Chinese laundry.
