That's alright Mittsupyou, neither can I.
Yes, I know that mine were seen on 13s, but with a bit of tweaking to the internal clips that have to be manipulated to cater for rims of differing shapes, I'm sure they could be persuaded to stretch to fit 14s. OK, so they'd maybe fall off frequently.....
Oooookay, bad idea yes? Ah'll get me coat.

Re: V6 into a RHD Chrysler Neon mk1
Well today we had a few hours of lovely clear and bright sunny weather.
My father had said spe wood had fallen on the carat the weekend, and
that the scratches will buff out!
He doesn't do cars and what he knows about cars or paint jobs you could
write on the back of a postcard!
So good weather to take a couple of photographs as I inspect the damage!

Then there are the dents on the wing as the wood fell like a karate chop!

Looks like it's respray for the bonnet and maybe a replacement wing.
I had stated earlier that bodywork and interior will be dealt with in the
summer when the weather is warmer for the paint to dry better!
Even more money to fork out for!
OH! I either have to get a proper race radiator which wouldn't need much
altering if any(lower water outlet with v6 oil filter clearance), or have the
current one lose about 2 inches across the hight/middle so it clears both
the bonnet reinforcement for the bonnet catch and the alternator from
behind!
So I'm going to get costs for both options!
Bloody meds knocking me fore six again!

Well I took this photo at about 2:30pm local time, and the
snow is just starting to come down.
The temperature is -1 degrees C.

I will not be doing anything on the car in this weather!!!!

Just checked the temperature gauge it's now 1 degrees C,
and the snow stopped a couple of hours ago.
Could the sensor be bust?

Re: V6 into a RHD Chrysler Neon mk1
It looks like I slipped up!!
I hadn't realised that on the 3rd of February it had been
precisely a year since both me and my mother went and
collected the engine, transmission and drive shafts!!!
From this jumbled mess

To this (a few months old this picture but you get the point)

I will finish this soon
(Well as soon as the weather hand health allows)
As I do not want this to carry on for another 6 months,
let alone another year!!! :sorry:

Re: V6 into a RHD Chrysler Neon mk1
As the temprature was on the warm side for a change.
I spent a few min under the car removing the lower radiator
hose and marking up for further alterations to the radiator.
As I have seen on Mishimoto and other Neon race radiators,
they state they are only 2 cores and under 1.5" thick.
However the radiator I am which is over 2.5" and ment for a
different car, I don't mind having it altered to suit the engine
swap.
I would rather have a larger cooling capacity radiator than
needed radiator, than find out that an expensive race radiator
for neons wasn't big enough and have forked out way too
much money for one(also if from the official mishimoto dealer
in the Uk I would be waiting till july or far later in the year!!)
I will have to persuade mother dearest to take me down to
Hartlepool Radiator Co, so I can get a quote on how much it
will cost to take out about 2inches of hight of the radiator core!

Once the radiator has eventually been sorted out and has been
ran for over a year to make sure all the kinks have been worked
out of the system. I will remove this one and get one custom
made using this one as a template so it will look neater and have
fewer bent or damaged veins/fins.

Well today it has been freezing rain, as soon as it hits,
it has been freezing solid! Which made it hard for me
to walk with the alloy radiator from the neon to
mothers car, as the drive is like a skating rink.
The first port of call before food shopping was to drop
off the alloy radiator off at Hartlepool Radiator Co.
And ask how much it would cost to shorten the core of
the radiator by about 2inches.
Unfortunately if the radiator had been made out of
copper and/or brass, shortening the core would have
been possible, as it is made of aluminium it is not
possible to alter the core.
The Guys are Hartlepool Radiator Co are going to get
me prices and breakdowns of the costs of making a
new complete custom radiator! The PC rebuild is on
indefinite hold depending on the cost.
Oh the DVLA has sent a reminder that the car's sorn
declaration runs out at the end of the month.
