Drove mine to work!! Have done all week....loving it!

Drove mine to work today for the first time to Central London. Was a bit unsure at first on whether to take it or not but made it there and back to my house (63 miles in total) without any trouble whatsoever. May have to do it more often if this weather stays as good as it is .

Whipped the roof, and doors, off and commuted. Weather like this, it would have been rude not to.

It's no good, you need a snorkel!

Why?

no off-roader is complete without a snorkel.

But If he hasn't got the doors on, the water level in the cockpit will never get high enough to interfere with his breathing even in a british summer. And anyway, he'd look a bit daft wearing snorkel and mask driving down the road! The flippers might interfere with pedal opperation too.

Drove mine to work again today.

Still using the Herald.

Paid £39 to have the tracking done as it was well out and it only just fitted on the ramps at the tyre place. You forget how fat modern cars are.

Made some new battery cables for the Marina so it takes a regular battery and not one that screws on to the terminals so will try and get that started today with some fresh fuel.

Got 2 people that want to come and have a look at the cheap Skoda so fingers crossed that will go and I have a space to put something else
