Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
After consulting Rick at S&S I decided to bin the belt driven fan and convert it to a new fangled thermostatic electric one , I was a bit worried about the way the fasteners pass through the rad but so far it has been ok
I have noticed this more and more on modern cars, while the body corrosion protection is superb the suspension parts don't seem to have followed.
Must admit the mgf's are tempting at current prices though, much as the tr'7s were 20 years ago when I bought mine.
You can get an MGF for a few hundred pounds now but they are usually very rough and will cost far more than they will ever be worth to put right. Much better to spend more and get a good one
