I wouldn't say that was excessive. I have a quote for £125 each to have my alloys stripped, repaired and powder coated (It says coated so I assume that is what it means). They are silver around the outside and body colour in the centre so a bit more work than single colour wheels.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

ive had quotes for a lot more than the £225 so quite happy with that. ive used powder coating on rims quite a few times and it works ok, yes if you chip it water may get under but ive found the finish to be quite durable.
