Thanks for catching that, quick edit there.
My brain turns to mush after a few too many late nights in the office!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.

Hand over or reveal dates are decided before the car arrives. Sometimes the car arrives early and waites to be done but probably only by a week and during that time some work is done to find out what parts are required. Once we get started we only have three weeks. We do go backwards and forwards between cars as they overlap. Mechanical work is being done on one while another is in the spray booth or the body is prepped. Body work and welding first then mechanical. That gives us something to bolt bits to!! Then it's all out to finish. We work the hours required to finish the car so it can hit the reveal date. There are some beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the workshop.

There is no set up comedy or false jeopardy. It is filmed as it happens. If something breaks or doesn't fit that is because it broke on camera or didn't fit on camera. The jokes are spontaneous. Obviously lots of things are filmed and not used. That is TV. The programme has to flow with a balance of technical and background story. You can't predict how an owner will react when he gets his car back. So far everybody has been delighted. The film crew take great care in getting the picture composition and detail correct. Fuzz is brilliant at being able to show how jobs are done without baffling the viewers. The problem is maintaining an interesting balance. It is easy to tell some the blatantly obvious and leave others bewildered. In both cases you will probably lose them as a viewer. A case of 'You can please some of the people etc etc.' If you can please everybody you can plait fog!

I have probably told you too much.

Probably not Phil as I failed to see what cars are coming up. :P

I watched the Stag episode last night via YouTube, and for once I actually turned the TV off I enjoyed it that much. Looking forward to it reappearing on the screens soon.

As an aside, the Anglia you did is still going strong, it lives not a million miles away from here :)

How often do you see it going sideways around roundabouts in the wet? it's owner looks like the type of bloke that "enjoys" it.

Well if you've got it, flaunt it, but I've only ever seen it parked up out and about :)

I believe Series 1 will be repeated early in the New Year. Watch NatGeo for trailers. I'm glad the Anglia is still going well. It really was a pocket rocket and sounded fantastic. The Stag ran well though it was a pig to get sorted. The Fiat 850 Sport was a delight to do though the Austin 12 Tourer was my favourite.

I quite fancy the cosworth but I would rather have the one the engine and dash were removed from
