That's a contradiction in terms. How can you ruin the looks of a TR7? The designers have already done a good job of that. When you think of the drop dead gorgeous TR range up to the six and then they brought that monstrosity out. And to think it came within a whisker of sporting an MG badge. Pass the smelling salts please.JPB wrote: I actually like the Marina-shaped thing too, but the wheels should - IMHO - be sold to someone who's planning to ruin the looks of a TR7

Looks like GHT has designated 2017 as his 'Totally Grumpy Year' maybe he is in the honours list for his 'Services to Grumpiness' - one thing for sure he has certainly got it in anything built in the 70's & 80's by good old BLThat's a contradiction in terms. Re: breakdown truck
There are two ways to do this. Firstly, you could simply switch the headlamps on, unless their lifting mechanism is broken, in which case that won't do any harm at all, so in that case, you'd need to redesign the 7 to look a little too much like the VW-Porsche 914, but without that car's longer wheelbase. It's still not in Ssang-Yyong Rodius territory for uglies but IMHO, the Triumph Bullet - seen below in an image twoc'd from AROnline - went a fair way toward ruining the TR7's handsome appearance. Cool looking Radio Truck anyone http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C825401 should be of interest to JPB - upright driving position, wide access doors and there is a bed in back of it - however, it's an Austin so GHT will be on a grump with this or is it just Austin's of certain era ?
