Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
A Stag and a Morris Minor drove by my parents' house yesterday (Not together), though the latter is local. Considering it was a nice day (
) and that they live in a National Park, I'd have expected to see more.

I've seen hundreds of "Jamie Oliver" VW campers recently. I thought these things were supposed to be rare.

Drove around 320 miles today, mainly on the Peage roads from the south to mid France today.
On the Peage I saw, a Renault 5 doing about 60mph, a Renault 4 doing about 50 mph
, thought both were brave though .
A Citroen Xm Turbo Diesal which was on a '29' plate so Finistere (western most area of Brittany ) so on a bit of a 'haul' too.
An Opel Corsa 'Viva'! Nova shaped and diesel I have not seen a 'Viva' badged car since, erm a Viva!

I saw my car:

As I was having the car filled up (proper service at Arnold's
) a red Vitesse convertible shot past; and then I saw this blue Toledo at the village hall! (I went there purely to have a look at the Toledo, you understand; having never seen one before).

It's a replica, based on a 1962 VW and registered as such. Understandable as Steyr originals must be fairly hard to track down now.
Looks a little, erm, pepper from the rear too, IMHO again:

A tiny image showing what the real Steyr T55 looks like:

Mmm, salty.
That replica appears as though they started to build it then someone saw the front of the real one and hadn't the heart to smash up the face of a pretty old bug that way.
