Don't worry John. you're not the 1st and won't be the last. I posted lots of questions and replaced my complete ignition system before I realised I'd connected the HT leads the wrong way round. I'm sure that makes you feel better. At least you're not as incompetant as me!

I have now given the Rapier a proper run on a private drive and the brakes are brilliant,stops on a tanner.It's now time to get it in for its CT (MOT) and I can get some road kms in.
