65 CORTINA MK1 GT

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

Never ceases to horrify how basically sound but a bit crusty turns into holes when you start prodding it a bit.

Delivery of welding wire and a fresh argon cylinder for Mr Foose?
Landrovers and Welding go together like Bread and Butter. And in the wet they are about as structurally sound

Biting. It's like kissing except there's a winner

Been blasted and the welding commences by Mr Colin Ginn.
Will soon have it back and then the long process of prep and paint
and the rest of the restoration I will do.

You've been busy! do you think this is better or worse than your Lotus Tina?
When was this one taken off the road?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Holy tinware Batman!

Are you able to get hold of those repair panels easily?
