I suspect that some mass disobedience is brewing..... Plenty of Classic Spares now appearing in Classic Cars.

Re: Annoying Eb*y
What a hell of a faff having to write an essay just to search for stuff!
Then I have to add or delete a specific item to modify the search rather than click on a category!
I just cant be bothered trawling through 1000's of irrelevant items for the parts I may want that are common to a lot of classics like the interior light mentioned!!
IF ebay have any common sense,,"AND I DOUBT IT VERY MUCH" they will listen to the people who matter and correct this almighty cockup.
If it aint broke dont mess with it!
If they can have a classic cars section then common sense dictates you have a classic car parts section to compliment it!

Eg:
rover (p6,2000sc,2000tc,2200,2200sc,2200tc) -(catalogue,decal,brochure,test,news,manual,cd,microfiche,keyfob,mug,model)
This is my search for P6 bits that doesn't show junk like mugs and keyfobs. It wouldn't be difficult to block those wiper blades or coloured leads in the same way.
What I'd really like to do is block results from specific sellers. As a seller you can block buyers that you don't like, but I haven't found a way of doing the reverse.

1968 S1 Rover P6V8 auto,2 owner/43k miles,Arden with sandalwood leather.

User pressure can work with eBay. You may all recall that recently they removed the 'won' items from the main personal page (your eBay home summary page). Well, thanks to pressure from eBay users they have brought it back. No fanfare to announce it though!
So, the answer is to complain and complain loudly fellow classics lovers

Well, I have to agree but sometimes it does work where other methods of searching for that elusive part fail....gospel wrote:Two words: Ebay s*cks!
