I haven't visited the car for around two years now and had to promise to Mother that I wouldn't be showing pictures of it anywhere, which is why none were shown even during its removal from the steading and subsequent recommissioning. She's no longer with us as of May, so that stands.
Aron did capture a couple of views of it in some of his Ryhope Engines Museum show threads from the one year in recent times when the Fiat was on the road and had been driven all the way down there by the sis-in-law beast, but she never got used to the idea of not using the clutch pedal once on the move (or double declutching, but that wasn't how Michael Schumacher drove his..) and, after that season, the previously freed off and rebuilt (original) non syncro gearbox had to come out again to be fitted with n/o/s innards. She did offer to buy a syncromesh 'box from a 126 and fit that herself, but we're at a stalemate there because I want it completely original, right down to its repro Michelin X radials (these stupidly expensive modern copies replaced the originals that had been fitted by the supplying dealer in 1972 to replace the standard Dunlop cross plies) and that gearbox, which can function perfectly well and frankly anyone who can't manage a crash gearbox shouldn't be let loose in a car.

I know of one other member who took detailed images of the car at a local show, so if that person (you know who you are..) were to post pics, then I wouldn't have to break any promises, but I'd probably need to apologise - and might think about doing so - for the incident involving his camera, the n/s/r wheel of my off road chair and my need to keep the car away from the internet.

That bloody car is both a unique thing (unwelded, never needed any work at all) and an albatross, 'nuff said!

JPB wrote::shock: Am I seeing that blue Cinquecento Giardiniera correctly? I'm thinking that it's a RHD one, if so then that's surely the rarest and most desirable thing at the place! What a lovely wee thing.
I promised that I wouldn't make any adverse comments:

On the spur road from the A31 down to Bournemouth I saw a 63/64 Falcon. It was too dangerous to try and photograph it, although you would have enjoyed the window sticker: "JFK for President." It was exactly like this one.

 Paramount!Well fk me backwards, that's a rare car and no doubting.

I've never seen one of those in the flesh, and that Series 1 coachbuilt Land Rover station wagon is rather desirable too, IMHO. I have seen that one though, and it's even more gorgeous up close.
But why the modern bus though? Did the driver wrong route the thing off the road and onto the field? :?

The Paramount and that gorgeous Riley were both at Maldon last week as well. Must be local to Essex. I've never seen an Atlantic at a show and that Jensen bodied Morris Eight must be a rarity.

Just back from a week in Ibiza.

Saw several Renault 4`s and a couple of 5`s, a 9 and an 11 along with a very nice 500 (proper one with a canvas sun roof and an air cooled motor), mk1 pandas a couple of mk1 Uno`s and a Seat Ibiza ( System Porshe - I`m not sure which system that was but it certainly didn`t sound air cooled!!!!)
