ive been in contact with the owner, number plates are missing v5 missing, does have vin plate! is it possible to trace the reg from that? its rhd too although that isn't a problem for me.. i fancy it as my first mg was a 67 b/gt & i regret selling it.. where are you lea27e? :(

If you don't know the reg, you'd have to get a dating certificate from British Motor Heritage, who may also know the reg. Would that really help if you're trying to register it in France?

If BMH can't help with the reg number, then you could get a dating certificate, apply for a V5C and a new age-related number and then use that to register it. I wonder if the present owner is selling it because of the difficulty in registering it?
