breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

What with Al Capone impersonator being such a specialised job title, I'm surprised to see that GHT needs to put in sixty hours. Mind you, I'd consider working maybe even more than that if I got to carry one of these:

As long as it's a toy one. That way, the cops will only do your kneecaps when they take you down outside Barclays. I'm told that people who carry real guns tend to be shot in the genitals.

Ahh a Thompson , I've thought about getting one a couple of times but unless you plan on doing some remodeling, it's not much of a home defense tool.

Actually, I'm thinking of spending a few grand on a restored 1956 caravan, that will hook up to the old MG. Problem is I just can't part with the readies.

Nice! Drive as is or do something about that flaking paintwork. The seller seems to think that you'd need a spade and a 4x4 to liberate it but why? Sure & an old Land Rover will start with its handle and drive itself out.

I've owned a mud slugger, sold it some years back to a re-enactor friend, he still has it. I should have shown him that Tommy Gun, he could have mounted it on the dash.

Define better! The Datsun's not, in spite of the seller's saying so, about to become "tax" exempt. Not before 2030 in fact, so buy a 1975 Transit caravette if zero VED is the deciding factor. Why do people say this stuff? :x

Mind on though, I bet that GHT has a shirt to match the van's paintwork. :scared:

missed that john! caravans are better than tents, sticking pins in my eyes watching eastenders & listening to radio 1 while drinking molten steel is better than caravanning.. unless its an airstream then i might make an exception :scared:
i do hope ght does own that shirt
