Joe has more Reliant stuff than anyone else in the UK, he occasionally has random other old motors in his extensive stock and without him, many hard to find parts would have become obsolete yet out of his millions of Reliants, it's that modern Micro that caught your eye?
What's the seller of the Calibra going on about? "Private plate?"
The car has its original N plate, the number is out of the select (1-20) range and it's carried that number since it was first registered. What's "private" about that? I fear we may be looking at the work of this chap again:
Humvee, a proper one, far too big for UK roads, a bit juicy I expect, what with its 6 litre Diesel engine, but it will drink corn oil at 26ppl from the Booker or Cashco (if bought in forty gallon drums). But much as I love that and even if it were worth the price of a perfectly worthy HMO that would earn for me, I'm not temperamentally suited to something so capable of leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. See if I were to own that, I'd probably end up in gaol and get my face all over one of these "Police, camera, trail of carnage" type TV shows!
Mind you, a tidy one of those is a very lovely thing indeed, though GM's similarly styled van of the period would be my preference.
