Wow! prosthetic limbs have come a long way since the '60s..
Oh, and the plate on the side of the footwell seems to be a commission plate that tells us everything except for the maker's identity, the folder is private so we'll need Savannah Witch to inform us.

If the publication: MG Enthusiast, is to be believed, I should be so excited at seeing this classic that I might even get my John Thomas out! (It's heresy to even think differently,) for goodness sake it's a 2004 car. My wife drives around in her 1996 Mk4 Golf without so much as a thought that it could be defined as classic. The only classic in her mind is the classic tight wad that she's married to. Dare you speak out that, although this might be a future classic, as yet it's got some waiting to do?

Me too, especially the original ones with Hydrasag suspension and - ideally - with that most excellent CVT option.

Only a Talbot Tagora excites me more than an F.

Have you had an aesthetic appreciation bypass? The Tagora? Seriously? Back in 1983, our neighbour, who happened to be the sales manager of a nearby Peugeot dealership, offered me a brand new Tagora for half the retail price. Production of the model had ceased and Peugeot were offloading almost everything that they had bought with Simca/Talbot connections. I didn't buy the Tagora simply because it epitomised the eurobox of a car. Bland, boring and banal. But I did buy her a Talbot, which she ran for 4 years before being offered silly money for the car. I replaced it with a VW Scala. Here's a similar Talbot to hers, different colour though, her's was silver.

Saw a really tidy MG Magnette close up today .. two tone green. Has a modded MGB engine and Ford S9 gearbox .. wasn't running but off to rolling road soon for tuning, then I hope to have a ride!
Apparently came with receipts for £8K from previous owners spend on bodywork, etc ..

Was the Magnette some thing like this?

It's hard to believe that this model superseded the MG YB. They are light years apart.
