I give you the classic vicar's car, the midwife's car, the Jeremy Corbynesque types' car. It's one of those silly little motors that brings a silly grin to silly faces. Admission time, I bought one. The Traveller version, brand new in 1970, a gift to my wife after passing her test, traded it in for a Mini two years later. It took just two years for moss to grow in the rear sliding windows, seriously. She used to have a spray can of weed killer in the glovebox. This one was parked up in Salisbury today.

There are a few classics local to me.
There is a fastback Mustang,a Rover PB5 and a mid 70's mini in a garage compound.
Maybe not a classic but an early Mazda RX7 slowly rotting away at the side of another garage.
I did buy a Sunbeam Stiletto from an old bloke a few years back who had a serious stash of classics including Jaguars, and a couple of Alvis TE dropheads.
In fact I must go back to his old house and see if there are any cars left.

Nice to see that some owners are not afraid to go out in the rain.

Nice picture GHT, I know what you mean about the silly grin

I have got a '67 series v and it never fails to make you or members of the public smile, just the other day we had been walking round Linacre reservoir near Chesterfield, when we were pulling out of the car park a bloke was filming me with his phone as we drove off :)

Had the privilege to be shown an almost immaculate Jaguar Mark V11 over the New Year, location needs to stay a secret but the car from the early 50s had only done just over 20K and was original and rust free. The owner is looking to sympathetically re-commission it and I hope to see it on the road soon.

Around my neck of the woods, we live near Brooklands Museum. You tend to see a number of old cars, most are minters, on a regular basis.

The last one, just prior to the festive period, was a Sunbeam Tiger. It's times like this wish I was single. (No, not really... interesting option though ;) ).

A 1939 Cadillac (I think,) right hand drive too. Some people have all the luck. I was in my Merc Sprinter van, couldn't find anywhere to stop legally, so I wound the window down and just stopped in the middle of the road. Nearly wet my pants in excitement.

That is so annoying. Yesterday, I saw an immaculately restored MG TD. It was on the back of a trailer. When the driver saw me, in my MG, he started finger jabbing at me and digging his wife in the ribs. As if she couldn't see me, they were on a roundabout and I was on one of the approach roads. She could see me more clearly than he could, but he still went on pushing her shoulder, digging her ribs and finger jabbing at me. I would love to have got him on camera. MG drivers like that, tar us all with their brush.
